Change the email address of a user

Before you start
- Make sure you are logged in at my.checkbuster.com
It is not possible to change the email address of another user. This article explains how a user can change his or her own email address. It also explains what to do when you have invited a user, using the wrong email address.
Change your email address
This feature requires the 360 User role. If you want to change your e-mail address, go to our website and select the ‘Users’ option from the menu or my.checkbuster.com dashboard. You will be redirected to the user overview page. In this screen you will see a list of all the users, their e-mail addresses, the date of their last login, the amount of inspections and what user account they have.
Click on your own user account. You will be redirected to your user’s detail page. Click on “Account”. You are now able to change your title, screen name, first name, last name, the time zone and your email address. Don’t forget to click the green [Save] button in the screen to save the changes made.
Change the email address of a user you have invited
This feature requires the Admin role. It is not possible to change another user’s email address, but if you invited a user, using the wrong email address that user obviously can’t login and therefore can’t change his or her email address either. What you need to do then, is remove that user. Please read the article to find out how you can remove a user.
